Toyota VIN Number locations

The position of Toyota VIN's or chassis numbers varies with each model and age and can usually be found in the engine compartment as well as the cockpit. Later models will have a visible VIN number that can be viewed through the bottom corner of the windscreen

1. Dashboard
On most Toyota vehicles, the VIN is located on the driver's side dashboard, visible through the windshield. 

2. Driver's Side Door Jamb
Open the driver's side door and look for a sticker or metal plate on the door frame. This label often contains the VIN along with other vehicle information.

3. Engine Compartment
The Toyota VIN number is most often in engine compartment. Check on the firewall just below the screen drain channel as well as on teh inner wing or  suspension top   This location can be more challenging to access and may require cleaning to view clearly.
