Chassis/VIN Plate
Prius VIN plate may be located either on the bulk head or on the right hand inner wing on a silver plate Late models the vin plate will be on the drivers/passenger door post by the door catch in a black sticker format Visible VIN On the left side of the windscreen if fitted Stamped Number Usually stamped into the bulk head on the left as you look into the engine compartment. Depending on age of vehicle it will be on the very top of the bulkhead just below the windscreen and may be covered by a plastic cover and the bonnet neoprene seal Later model it is stamped into the floor cross member under the right hand front seat viewed by removing a plastic cover flap of carpet Engine Number 2001 hybrid On the front right as you look at the engine just by the exhaust manifold. 2008 on the left front as you look again down by the manifold Vin Number Example
