Chassis/VIN Plate
Early models the VIN number is stamped into riveted metal plate in the offside centre of the bulkhead. Can also be on top of the left hand suspension housing More recent manufactured models ( 2010 examined ) The Rav VIN was on the left had door post in a black sticker format Stamped Number Stamped into the offside centre of the bulkhead. Flat horizontal ‘S’ used as security marks. Later models possibly from 2000 (2003 model examined ) onwards The RAV 4 Chassis number is under the right hand front seat under a plastic flap Engine Number Refer to owners manual but generally appears to be on the front of the block |
