In the boot compartment on the panel below the boot catch. Number is on a metal plate held by two silver/black rivets. The number does not display any security marks. MR2 roadster is In the rear engine compartment on the nearside bulkhead on a metal plate held by two silver rivets. Visible VIN None on early models Stamped Chassis Number On the offside centre of the bulkhead with hyphen security marks at both ends of the number. On the Roadster it is Stamped into the centre of the front bulkhead below the windscreen wiper pivot.
