Chassis/VIN Plate
On a black sticker on the front offside top of the inner wing. The number is in bold white lettering and there are no security marks displayed. Varies with model and year can also be found on the slam panel and nearside wing. Later models (2005 examined) it was on the very bottom of the front left hand door B pillar 
Visible VIN
Viewed through the nearside base of the front windscreen. Number is in bold white lettering on a plastic sticker viewed through the obscuration line. 
Stamped Chassis Number
Stamped into the centre of the bulkhead with eight point asterisk security marks at both ends. It has also been located onto of the right hand inner wing just next to the bonnet hinge on a 2006 model 
Engine Number
Stamped into the rear of the block towards the nearside on a horizontal flange adjacent to the bell housing. Varies with model and year. |
