The number is in bold white lettering and there are no security marks displayed

Newer models a black sticker on the left hand B pillar

Older models its on a black metal plate held by two black rivets. Positioned on the front offside of the slam panel behind the headlamp.

Viewed through the nearside base of the front windscreen. Number is in bold white lettering behind the obscuration line.

Stamped Chassis Number
Stamped into the centre top of the bulkhead adjacent to the rain channel below the wiper pivot, viewed through a clear plastic window. Number displays an eight point asterisk security mark.
It may also be on top of the right hand inner wing just below the bonnet hinge.
