Chassis/VIN Plate
Shogun/Pajero VIN number can be located on the nearside of the bulkhead on a metal plate held by two silver rivets. On models prior to 1991 the plate was on the offside slam panel and a secondary plate was on the offside centre of the bulkhead. On more recent models it has been reported as being on the left hand door pillar  Shogun/Pajero VIN Number
Stamped Chassis Number
Viewed through the rear offside wheel arch. The number is stamped onto the chassis towards the rear of the tyre. Possibly also on the bulkhead on later models 
Engine Number
Can be found on the offside front of the block on a vertical lug adjacent to the alternator. This varies with engine size but the numbers can still be found on the offside of the block. |
