Chassis/VIN Plate
On the centre of the bulkhead on a metal plate held by two silver rivets. Models prior to 1995 have a VIN repeat on a metal plate positioned on the underside of the bonnet. Later models may be on the right hand B pillar On some Colt Cabriolet models: The VIN plate is located on the left hand front floor pan under seat Visible VIN None. Stamped Number Stamped on the offside of the bulkhead with Mitsubishi logo security marks.on later models chassis number may be under a plastic inspection panel towards the top of the bulkhead/firewall On some Cabriolet models:Right hand floor pan under drivers seat Engine Number Varies with model and specification but generally found either on the front nearside or front offside of the block. |
