As the Holden Barina is a rebadge version of different vehicles the position of the VIN numbders will vary depending on generation and even the year of make within each generation.
1 First generation 1985–1988 Re badged Suzuki Cultus The VIN number can be located on a plate in the center of the firewall stamped into the firewall or just above the left hand side inner wing. Later models may have a visible VIN number viewed through the windscreen 2 Second generation 1989–1994 As First generation 3 Third generation 1994–2000 Re Badged Vauxhall Opel Corsa VIN number can be located on a metal plate rivited to the firewall or stamped into the floor pan just beside the driver or passenger seat or viewed through the front windscreen depending on vehcile age. 4 Fourth generation 2001–2005 Upgraded Corsa vin numbers located as above 5 Fifth generation 2005–2011 Re badged Chevrolet Aveo VIN plate is located on bonnet slam panel a Visible VIN number is on the left hand lower windscreen. The stamped VIN number should be stamped into the center of the firewall 6 Sixth generation 2011–present Updated version as above the VIN plate may be on a tamperproof sticker on the driver of passenger door jam Engine Number Varies but generally found on the front nearside of the block. |
