Chassis/VIN Plate
On the centre of the bulkhead. The first part of the VIN is printed and the sequential numbers are embossed all on a metal riveted plate held by two black rivets. Later versions the VIN data plate is in a black sticker format on the bottom of the left hand B pillar. Riveted plates have alos been found. Visible VIN None on early models Stamped Number Stamped into the right side of the bulkhead. On some later models it is almost above the right inner wing Most recent models it is on top of the suspension top viewed by removing the plastic cover Engine Number On older models it is on the front centre of the block on a vertical lug low down, or on the left front of the block. |
