The VW Touareg VIN number plate is located on the left hand side door B pillar low down just above the sill in a black sticker format

Visible VIN
Viewed through the nearside base of the front windscreen. The number is in bold white lettering on a plastic strip,


There may also be a white paper build sticker that can often be located in the boot

Chassis & VIN Plate

Stamped Chassis Number
The Touareg chassis number is stamped into the right hand side inner wing between the suspension housing and the drain channel.



​It is obscured by the plastic cover below the windscreen and is difficult to see without pushing the cover back later models it has been found under the seat
