- In the Engine Compartment on the inner wing or suspension top
- Stamped or affixed on the Bulkhead or firewall
- Stamped in to floor in front of or besides seats
- On the dash viewed through the bottom corner of the windscreen
- On the driver or passenger door post usually in a sticker format
- On the boot floor under the carpet
- The log book will also show the VIN
