Chassis/VIN Plate
On the offside of the bulkhead. On earlier models the plate is on the offside of the slam panel and on later cars it is on the top of the shock absorber housing Visible VIN None. Stamped Number On the centre of the bulkhead. Number uses eight point asterisk security marks. On earlier and some later models the number is stamped on the right suspension top. Engine Number Either on the front nearside top of the block underneath the cylinder head or on a vertical lug on the rear offside of the block next to the bell housing. Vin Number Example
