Chassis/VIN Plate
Saab 9000 VIN number can be located on the offside of the bulkhead or inner wing. Visible VIN On later models the number is viewed through the nearside base of the front windscreen, embossed on a silver metal plate. Stamped Number The 9000 Chassis number is stamped in the offside boot area next to spare tyre. Older models may have the number on the centre of the bulkhead. Engine Number On the nearside front of the block on a cast lug. Some early models have the number on the rear centre of the block. |
