Chassis/VIN Plate
Renault Scenic VIN plate is located on the offside base of the drivers door pillar in a sticker format. Later models it has also been found on the same pillar but just below the door catch and also on the same post but level with the front and rear doors facing out. 
Visible VIN
Viewed through the nearside base of the front windscreen on a black plastic strip with white lettering. 
Stamped Chassis Number
The Scenic chassis number is on the offside suspension turret under bonnet or on some models the chassis number is located under the spare tire. 2006 model the VIN number was at the front of the inner wing on a lip behind the headlight 2011 model the number was on the front right A post just above the door hinge 
Engine Number
Found on the front nearside of the block adjacent to the dipstick on some but this will vary with model and year of manufacture |
