Chassis/VIN Plate
Laguna VIN plate is located on the offside base of the drivers door pillar in a sticker format. Earlier models display the plate on the offside or centre of the bulkhead. 
Visible VIN
None on earlier models. Generally viewed through the obscuration line at the nearside base of the front windscreen. The number is in bold white lettering on a black plastic background. 
Stamped Chassis Number
The chassis number on the Laguna is either on the offside top of the suspension housing in a dot matrix format with Renault security marks or on the centre left of bulkhead. 
Engine Number
1.8 and 2.0L versions have the number on a vertical riveted plate held by two rivets on the nearside front of the block. On V6 engines the number can be found on the offside front of the block. |
