Chassis/VIN Plate
Found on the centre of the bulkhead on a silver metal plate held by two silver rivets. The number is embossed and does not display any security marks. 
VIN plate Location
Stamped Chassis Number
Stamped into the offside centre of the bulkhead. The number displays a 'kite' security mark at both ends.  1.6
Engine Number
Varies with model and specification. Can be found stamped into the front offside of the block on a 45o lug adjacent to the exhaust manifold or on the front nearside of the block as in the 16v model. |
