Chassis/VIN Plate
The Boxster VIN plate can be located on the offside drivers door frame in a sticker format. The sticker will break up if any attempt is made to remove it On the model examined, a Build Sticker, which contains a VIN number was found on the underside of the bonnet.

Visible VIN
The VIN number can be viewed through the nearside base of the front windscreen on a metal plate. The number appears in bold white lettering. 
Chassis Number
The Boxster chassis number can be found in a dot matrix format on the top offside of the bulkhead of the front boot The Boxster VIN number is viewed through a plastic cover.
