Chassis/VIN Plate
911 VIN plate is on the offside drivers door frame in a sticker format. Earlier models have the plate inside the front boot on the offside inner wing or near to the front. Visible VIN Viewed through the nearside base of the front windscreen. Stamped Number 911 chassis number is located stamped into the centre of the bulkhead in the front boot compartment. On earlier models the number is stamped into the floor of the front boot behind the spare wheel. Engine Number Can be found on the offside fan support or on the rear nearside of the block. |
