106 VIN plate is located on the offside slam panel on a metal riveted plate with six holes only two used. 
Visible VIN
Dot matrix format on nearside bottom of front windscreen and rear windscreen in two rows. 
Stamped Chassis Number
Stamped into the centre of the bulkhead with shield security marks at both ends. 
Engine Number
On the nearside front centre of the block. Some models have an additional number embossed on a metal plate riveted to the timing belt cover. |
