Found on the inside of the offside inner wing on a metal plate held by two black rivets. The number is embossed and does not display any security marks. On later moidels the Data plate may be on a sticker format on the door post  Kia Carens VIN number
Stamped Chassis Number
Stamped into the chassis underneath the drivers offside seat. The number is under a plastic cover and has hyphen security marks at both ends. 
Engine Number
Stamped into the front offside of the block on a horizontal lug adjacent to the dipstick and exhaust manifold. |
