Chassis/VIN Plate         
Galaxy VIN plate is located riveted on the offside centre of the slam panel or as a sticker on the bottom of the ‘B’ post of the passenger door.  No security marks.

Visible VIN     
Viewed through the nearside base of the front windscreen on a plastic mounting with airbag logo one side and Ford logo below. Number appears as bold white lettering.

Stamped Number        
chassis number is stamped on the offside centre of the bulkhead. Number has six point asterisk or Star of David security marks.

On later models it can be found next to the driver or passenger seat under a plastic flap 

Engine Number
On the end of the block by the rear of the starter motor on a lug. Turbo diesels display the number on the block above the bell housing. On V6 engines the number is on the rear offside of the block.
