The VIN plate is on the left hand side of the slam panel. It is s silver metal plate affixed by 2 black rivets. Stamped Number Fiat Punto stamped chassis VIN number is stamped into the floor by the drivers/passenger seat. It is viewed under a plastic flap Engine Number The engine code number is on the front left side of the engine block found low down on a cast flat lug adjacent to the exhaust outlet It is etched on the engine in a Dot Matrix format |
