Chassis/VIN Plate
On the offside of the bulkhead. On a silver metal plate held by two black rivets. Number has six point asterisk security marks at both ends. Secondary position is on the edge of the drivers door on a white sticker. Stamped Number Stamped in two rows on the bulkhead above the VIN plate. Both rows of numbers have six point asterisk security marks at the start and end of the numbers. We where unable to gain full access to examine the car so the above Viper VIN location detail is obtained from some old information we had regards a UK vehicle The Viper Registry lists the VIN as being located as follows: "The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is located on the left A-pillar inside the windshield opening. Additional locations include: the top of the front passenger side frame rail, the top of the rear passenger side lower frame rail, the right side of the block (near the transmission bell housing), and the drivers side of the transmission tailshaft housing."
