Chassis/VIN Plate
VIN is on a black metal riveted plate on the offside inner wing. The number displays no security marks. Early models may have the plate riveted on the offside center of the slam panel. A secondary silver/white sticker can be found in the boot compartment on the nearside floor. The ninth character is smaller than the rest and separates the number.

Stamped Number
Stamped on the centre of the bulkhead in two rows, one above the other. An 8 point star security mark is found at the beginning and end of each row with a double security star mark preceding the second row of numbers.

Engine Number
On 4 and 5 cylinder versions the number is on the nearside of the engine block. On V6 models the number is on the offside front of the block and on V8 versions the number is either on the front offside (1994 onwards) or on the front nearside (before 1994).
