Chassis/VIN Plate Location
The Tata Ace VIN Plate is located rivited to the body under the carpet in the cab.
It is found by lifting the seat and pulling down the flap of carpet
Visible VIN
There may be a Visible VIN viewed through the front windscreen of the truck
Stamped Chassis Number
Lift the driver seat and the vin number is stamped ontop of the cross member it may be obscried by the carpet. The VIN plate and a second engine number plate is positioned just under it on the panel facing the front of the cab
Engine Number
Viewed from either under the seat when lifted or from underneath the Ace engine number can be located on the front right hand side of the engine block. It is on a metal plate rivited to the lowr part of the engine
